view large image from the slider

On the Article Slider (in a post) - can you click and have a large image which you can then close?

this is the article slider- it has multiple images.
We want the option to click on a certain image in the slider to view it in a popup window with the full size of the picture.

 

Unfortunately there isn't a way to do that with our theme unless you custom code something up. Sorry.
