I am optimizing my websites performance and would like to do the following: Combine most external javascripts into a single javascript Combine external stylesheets into a single stylesheet Combine background images with CSS sprites Add expires headers Are these changes possible under your theme or will it disrupt my website? We have implemented theme by keeping all points in mind that you have listed above. So there is no need to optimize theme again. You can use theme as it is now and use recommended size images, For good performance.
