Hello! Where is the lead capture form? It is selected in the theme options etc. and I can see it in the geocraft settings / lead capture, but where do I create a lead capture form to use in areas of a website? I can't find anything else in the dashboard, please advise. Thank you! Jo
Hello, To turn on the lead capture form you need to go to:- Geocraft Settings-->Theme Options--> Listing Settings and then turning on the lead capture form. After doing this your form will get appeared on the single listing page. It's a default form that you can able to use. But if you wish to create your own custom form then as if now it is not possible. Hope it will solve your issue. Let me know if have further any queries.
Hi, thanks for your reply. it is set to 'on' and it is in the single listing page, I thought it could be on other pages as well. In particular a lead capture on homepage to the actual directory site itself, and captcha in contact page of the directory site. Do you have any suggestions? I am not familiar with lead form and captcha etc.. (learning) Thanks, Jo.
Hello, The lead form is placed on the single listing so that any end user can directly contact to the listing owner via the form. The captcha is provided to avoid spamming activity. Hope it will make clear your doubts. Let me know if have further any doubts.
Hello, Yes, I understand and that is good. What I was also thinking was to have a lead capture form for the business directory site also, so on the home page. and I wonder if I could have captcha in the theme contact page to avoid spamming. Would I need to install separate plugins for this? Thank you. Jo.
Hello, Yes, I recommend you to Install separate plugin so that you can customize it according to your needs. If you wish then you can go for InkLeadCapture WordPress plugin. By using it you can create or manage your own custom lead forms. You can also refer the following link about how it works : http://www.inkthemes.com/lead-capture-wordpress-plugin/ Hope it will solve your issue. Let me know if have further any queries.
