Using a text or HTML editor, go to the code for the homepage of your website and paste the meta tag in the <head> section. (The <head> section is at the top, before <body>). Save and upload this new file to your web server to replace the old version. If you are using a common CMS, you could likely just click "Publish". Click on the VERIFY button to find out if the verification was successful
