Where is the Listing Data?

In MySQL which Table(s) contain the actual data from the listings?

I have a lot of data to enter, and it would be easier to add it directly into the MySQL Tables.

I had enough trouble deleting the star ratings from the mySQL tables and resetting the listings.

Have you tried the import facility?

Have you used the demo data to inspect the tables to see whats happening?

I started to figure out the format of the import file, by looking at the export files. But the export file is not complete. Has missing fields, etc. Numerous support threads about that. Since I only need to import a single field for listings which are already there, I'm afraid of doing this.

 

I thought you meant a lot of NEW data to enter so the import would be the simplest way.

However I note you now say import a single field and update the database. Thats something different and would probably be best done by going direct to the mySQL tables and find/select each record (listing) for update as appropriate. Not easy to construct the SQL code if you are not used to it and fraught with problems if you get it wrong.

Can't say this enough, backup, backup and backup your database!
