My site has started adding http://www.MyGeoThemeSite.co.uk/listing/listingName/ to their url or social link. Like this http://www.MyGeoThemeSite.co.uk/listing/listingName/www.theirwebsite.com What could have caused this? and how do I fix it?
Hello, Add http:// in the start of the www So Instead of www.theirwebsite.com It should be http://www.theirwebsite.com or http://theirwebsite.com It will resolve this issue.
Thanks I will try this. But if a new listing uses just www are you saying I will have to manually edit and add the http:// for all new listings? Most new listing will probably just use www or worse theirwebsite.com this will make for lots of re editing yes?
Hello, We will add auto "http://" checker in next version update. Till then you can add description (like: "Please add complete link address http://www.facebook.com/abcd") in the social media custom field.
