XML Sitemap not being generated.

I'm trying to generate XML Sitemaps for my site and I receive the following error.

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 1 at column 7: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.


Based on my search I found that this is due to white spaces in the theme. Can you help me fix this.
