Search Query Results are Useless

Well, I can tell you for sure the Search feature isn't working. I have the newest version of the theme. I added a business that's a Pizza Restaurant and specifically added "Pizza" as one of the Tags. Yet when I search for Pizza I get No Results.

In the beginning of a directory site launch business owners are going to search for their own business to see if it is already listed. They would only be able to find it by browsing through the category they think their business would be in.

I would expect that when I search on a zip code in the search, that all of the business information displayed, even the featured businesses in the slider on the home page would be filtered to that zipcode. Currently, I get all featured businesses even when I do a search on a given zipcode. Can you please tell me why the search has not been programmed to restrict business results (including featured businesses) based on zipcode searched on?

 

Agreed - accurate zip code / postcode search is essential.
